A days driven shooting on Netherwood Estate is traditionally interspersed with the customary refreshments associated with the days sport.

Guests are asked to convene at the Lodge where on arrival introductions are made and instructions given over hot rolls and coffee. A hamper of homemade delights is sent out with the shooting party and enjoyed out on the hill mid morning. The party is then invited back to the Lodge where they are able to relax and enjoy a ‘dram’ around the open fire before being invited through to the dining area where they are served a traditional hot meal and wine.

Opportunities for rough shooting are available on the Estate and if a walked-up day with the keeper and his team is your preference, then a hamper for the hill or
a hot lunch at the Lodge can be prepared with prior arrangement.
