Roe deer stalking is an excellent way to explore Netherwood Estate and its tranquil moorland. You will spend time walking through the beautiful landscapes - forests, gullies and river banks – as you go in search of the deer. Rifles are accompanied by an experienced stalker who takes you out to hunt at dusk and dawn as the animals move from cover to feed. Roe deer stalking can be undertaken as part of a package and for those with sufficient stamina there is the opportunity to spend the day salmon fishing on the Greenock Water, the river running directly though the Estate. This package provides you with a fantastic opportunity to observe native wildlife in its natural habitat.

Roebucks are stalked from early April until October, with Roe does through the winter months.

Accommodation is available on the Estate. We can also arrange stalking at other locations throughout Scotland for Red, Sika and Fallow deer
