2007 saw the introduction of red–legged and grey partridge shooting on Netherwood Estate, which has proved to be an exceptional success. The range of high and unsuspecting drives, set within the unassuming moorland, provide a wonderfully challenging day's shooting. Guests particularly enjoy the Lorna Doone Valley, a winding gorge extending to over a mile, in which they are situated. Partridges are then shown over the guns at a phenominal height as they are driven over the deep glens at speeds that will test even the veteran shooter.

The partridge season commences on 1st September and continues until the end of January. We are able to offer driven days for both single and double guns to suit your requirements as well as back to back days.
